Psychic Powers Get Closer
The BBC reports on a recent successful trial to allow a man paralysed from the neck down to control external objects using his mind. The man had a chip implanted in his brain that picked up signals, allowing him to interact with a prosthetic hand, email and a game. Is it weird (or perhaps a sign that I’ve been watching too many Buffy reruns?) that the first thing I thought of was someone doing something evil and leaving no fingerprints? And Giles & the Scooby gang hunting down said stealthy evil?
